The High Resolution (HR) Land Cover (LC) Essential Climate Variable (ECV) of the Climate Change Initiative (CCI) of the European Space Agency (ESA) studies and investigates the role of the spatial resolution of land cover and land cover change in supporting climate modelling research at regional scale. The ESA CCI HRLC project involves the accurate description and analysis of land cover and land cover change using Earth Observation (EO) data with high spatial resolution (10-30m).
